A small product for parishes that print a weekly bulletin.

Microsoft Publisher served parishes well for thirty years. Your bulletin doesn't have to retire with it.

We rebuild your weekly bulletin in Canva, which you'll own forever, then give you a portal where ministry leaders submit announcements directly. AI formats every entry in your parish's voice, ready to drop into your bulletin. One Tuesday afternoon a week, back in your life.

Your bulletin today, in Publisher
Your bulletin in Canva, after migration

If any of this sounds familiar.

The bulletin isn't really a design problem. It's a coordination problem. Here's what we hear from parish business managers and secretaries every week.

i.

It's Tuesday at 4pm and you're still chasing three ministry leaders for content that was due yesterday.

ii.

Every event gets rewritten three times: once for the bulletin, once for the email, once for the lobby screens.

iii.

Publisher works just fine, but October 2026 is on the calendar and nobody at the parish has a real plan yet.

iv.

The free template from your bulletin printing company looks fine, but they keep putting ads where you'd rather put a photo.

One migration. One portal. Every channel covered.

A clean handoff to a Canva bulletin you own forever, plus the submission tools that make the weekly grind disappear.

  • Your bulletin rebuilt in CanvaYou own the file forever. No subscription to anyone else. Export to PDF for any printer, including 4LPi or J.S. Paluch if you want to keep them.
  • A submission portal at bulletin.yourparish.orgMinistry leaders submit announcements directly. No more chasing email threads. Set deadlines, see everything in one inbox, approve with one click.
  • AI formatting in your parish's voiceEvery submission becomes a polished, length-tuned bulletin entry. No more rewriting in your secretary's voice. Optional add-ons for email blast and lobby screen formatting if your parish uses those channels.
  • A 7-video tutorial libraryEvery parish gets the same well-produced training videos. Most secretaries are confident in Canva inside an hour. No Zoom calls required.
  • Three months of the portal freeIncluded with every migration. No card required during the free period. Cancel before month four if it’s not for you, no questions asked.

Three steps. No surprises.

We've designed this so a parish can go from “we should probably do something about Publisher” to “the bulletin runs itself” in about two weeks.

i

Send us your current bulletin.

A PDF or .pub file is enough. We build a real Canva mockup of your front cover and one inside spread, so you can see exactly what you’d be paying for. Free, no obligation.

ii

You approve the design.

If you love it, we hand off the editable Canva files (yours forever) and set up your branded submission portal at bulletin.yourparish.org. If you don’t love it, walk away.

iii

Ministry leaders start submitting.

Announcements come in through the portal. AI formats them in your parish’s voice, ready for the bulletin. Your secretary approves the lot in 15 minutes Tuesday morning. The bulletin goes out on time, every time.

Here's what your secretary actually sees.

The portal is the part where the weekly grind disappears. Ministry leaders submit. AI formats every entry in your parish's voice. Your secretary approves a list of polished, ready-to-paste bulletin entries on Tuesday morning.

Sounds like your church. Not generic AI.

During onboarding, you choose 3 to 5 words that describe how your parish actually communicates. The AI uses these to shape every bulletin entry. Pick “warm and conversational,” you'll get warm and conversational. Pick “reverent and traditional,” you'll get reverent and traditional.

Built for parishes, by someone who actually worked in one.

I spent years working in parish religious education and youth ministry before starting Adventii Media, a small NJ-based agency that builds for manufacturers, distributors, churches, and other businesses that need real tools instead of marketing buzzwords.

The first version of Ambo runs at Saint Helen Parish in Westfield, NJ, where I'm also the comms director. After a year of using it myself, it saves me about six hours a week of bulletin coordination work.

When Microsoft announced Publisher's retirement, the obvious next step was making this available to other parishes facing the same deadline. Ambo isn't a venture-backed software company. It's the same tool that works at Saint Helen, productized so any parish can use it.

Things parishes actually ask us.

No, your secretary still owns the weekly bulletin. We give you the tools (a Canva template, a submission portal, AI formatting tuned to your voice) that turn bulletin production from a six-hour weekly chore into a forty-five minute one. We're not a bulletin printing or production service. If your parish needs fully done-for-you bulletin production, we're happy to refer you to printers who specialize in that.
The bulletin is the core product, but if your parish also sends a weekly email blast or runs lobby screen content, we offer that as an add-on. The same submission becomes ready-to-paste content for whichever channels you use. Many parishes only need the bulletin and that's perfectly fine.
Yes. Your Canva file exports to a print-ready PDF that goes to any printer, including the bulletin printing companies you already work with. Some parishes keep that relationship and just bring their own template. Others move printing in-house once they realize how much control they get back.
Honestly, yes. Canva is genuinely simpler than Publisher for the day-to-day work of editing a bulletin. Every parish gets our 7-video tutorial library that walks through exactly the things parish secretaries actually need to do (edit text, swap photos, update mass times, export to PDF). Most people are confident inside an hour.
Your Canva bulletin works regardless. You own the file forever. And the submission portal still saves your secretary the time it takes to chase down ministry leaders every week, which is the real recurring pain. Either way you're better off.
Built specifically for Catholic parishes (we know the lectionary, the seasons, sacramental references, the way ministries are organized), but it works for any church that publishes a weekly bulletin. We just default to Catholic conventions because that's our deepest expertise.
Yes. You can take the Canva files and walk away. The portal is included free for three months and is optional after that. Most parishes choose to keep it once they see how much time it saves, but you're under no obligation.
A real, editable Canva version of your bulletin's front cover and one inside spread, designed by us, based on your existing bulletin and your parish's identity. You see it before you pay anything. If you don't love it, walk away with no obligation. If you do love it, the migration converts your full bulletin and we set up the portal.

Five months until Publisher retires.

We're taking on a limited number of parish migrations before October. Send us your current bulletin and we'll build you a free Canva mockup so you can see exactly what we'd deliver. No card, no calls, no pressure.

I'm the comms director at Saint Helen as well as the founder of Adventii. I built Ambo because I needed it. After a year of using it myself, I'd rather not go back to Tuesday afternoons in Publisher.
